Excellence Serving Regional and National Development

Ibn Zohr University (UIZ) stands today as the largest university hub in the Kingdom in terms of geographical coverage, spanning over half of the national territory. Our institution is positioned as a true engine of socio-economic development for the greater southern Moroccan regions.

Our figures are not merely statistics; they reflect a dynamic of continuous growth and a strong commitment to democratizing access to high-quality higher education.

Our Major Strategic Axes:

• Diverse Educational Offerings: Comprehensive coverage of academic disciplines (Sciences, Technology, Humanities, Economics, and Management).
• Dynamic Scientific Research: Over 130 research structures dedicated to technological innovation and solving regional challenges.
• Professional Integration: Sustained support through the Innovation City and our employability centers to facilitate labor market access for our tens of thousands of graduates.

UIZ remains resolutely forward-looking, building today the Moroccan university of tomorrow: modern, inclusive, and globally connected.
